Gentrol reaches deep into wall cavities, cracks and crevices, reaching the breeding cockroaches that other treatments miss. Hydroprene, the active ingredient, is the man-made equivalent of cockroaches' juvenile hormone. Once exposed, pre-adult cockroaches become sterile adults, incapable of creating future infestations.
Cockroaches and stored product pests encounter hydroprene the same way they encounter insecticides - traveling on or rubbing against a treated surface. Gentrol spreads out from its point of application, creating a much larger treated surface than conventional insecticides - including hard-to-reach areas like wall voids.
